Ashly joined the Nayar & McIntyre LLP team in 2015. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a legal assistant at a non-profit, Hope Services Center, and prior to that was a customer service representative for USCIS. In addition to overseeing the day to day management of the firm, Ashly assists the attorneys with a wide range of complex immigration cases, including deportation defense, family immigration petitions, consular processing, waivers of inadmissibility, and naturalization applications. Angelica Torres

Angelica joined Nayar & McIntyre LLP in 2022 after moving from California. Her passion for immigration is personal as she is the child of immigrants and can relate to clients on a personal level. She understands the hardships they face when arriving in the land of opportunity. She primarily assists in family-based cases, applications for naturalization, adjustment of status, and I-751 removal of conditions. Angelica finds pleasure in helping families and individuals achieve their dreams while assisting them to understand the immigration process. It gives her joy to know that she can help immigrants achieve their goals and unite families. She loves what she does and even more so, being a part of such a caring and great team. Joanna Larin

Joanna’s interest in immigration law started at a young age watching her parents and other family members navigate our immigration system, and celebrating as they achieved their dreams of becoming legal permanent residents and citizens. Remembering how happy that made them motivates her to help other immigrant families every day. She is currently studying at Dallas Brookhaven College and plans to further her studies at University of Texas at Dallas. Joanna assists the attorneys with applications for naturalization, adjustment of status, DACA and I-751 removal of conditions. Melissa Villarreal
Receptionist
Melissa was born and raised in the Dallas area; she comes from a family of immigrants that, just like many, came to this country to give their family a better future. She graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a bachelors in Criminal Justice and Criminology. In 2012, Melissa worked for a non-profit organization specializing in immigration law, which soon became her passion. Today she continuous to serve the community as a volunteer for the Arlington Hispanic Citizen Police Academy.
