For all family-sponsored preference categories, you must use the Dates for Filing chart in the April Visa Bulletin, similar to previous months in the family-based category. India, China, the Philippines, and Mexico continue to face the longest backlogs due to country-specific demand, resulting in separate, much slower cutoff dates. Family-based cases are impacted by high filing volumes and limited visa numbers in, leading to ongoing backlog management.
